Grand Meal Offering to the Buddhas
☼ nán mó xiāo zāi yán shòu yào shī fó
«南 無 消 災 延 壽 藥 師 佛»
稱念聖號至長生祿位前
Recite the holy name of Medicine Buddha while walking to the long-life plaques.
nán mó zēng fú shòu pú sà mó hē sà
南 無 增 福 壽 菩 薩 摩 訶 薩

Homage to the Bodhisattva, Mahasattva who increases blessings and life-span.
nán mó xiāo zāi yán shòu yào shī fó
南 無 消 災 延 壽 藥 師 佛

Homage to Medicine Buddha who eliminates calamities and lengthens life.

喝 囉 闍 也。 怛 陀 揭 多 耶。
ā luó hē dì sān miǎo sān bó tuó yē
阿 囉 訶 帝。 三 藐 三 勃 陀 耶。
dá zhí tā ǎn bǐ shā shì bǐ shā shì

fó guāng zhù zhào běn mìng yuán chén
佛 光 注 照 本 命 元 辰
May Buddha’s light shower and shine upon our lives at the primal hour.
zāi xīng tuì dù fú xīng lín
災 星 退 度 福 星 臨
May evil stars recede and pass; may blissful stars arrive.
jiǔ yào bǎo cháng shēng yùn xiàn hé píng
九 曜 保 長 生 運 限 和 平
May nice auspicious stars guarantee long ife.
Destiny specifies peace.
fú shòu yǒng kāng níng
福 壽 永 康 寧
Bliss, longevity everlasting health & serenity.
yuàn xiāo sān zhàng zhū fán nǎo
願 消 三 障 諸 煩 惱
I vow to eradicate all vexations arising from the three obstructions.
yuàn dé zhì huì zhēn míng liǎo
願 得 智 慧 真 明 了
I vow to attain wisdom and real understanding.
pǔ yuàn zuì zhàng xī xiāo chú
普 願 罪 障 悉 消 除
I vow to remove all obstacles of calamities in the universe.
shì shì cháng xíng pú sà dào
世 世 常 行 菩 薩 道
I vow to always tread the Bodhisattva life after life.
